​The housing market in Charleston has been on the rise now for quite some time recently breaking previous records.

More and more people are moving to the area to escape high home costs from big cities. Even though Charleston is one of the more expensive cities to live in when compared to other parts of South Carolina. The median house listing price Is still significantly lower than other bigger cities in the U.S. So, is it time to move to Charleston?

Southern charm and great food is in abundance and you get all that right next to the beach. Charleston also has a rich history and culture. It is also affordable, with low interest rates and median price, landing Charleston high on the housing affordability index. Your new property or home is also likely to appreciate. Since 2012 median price has increased each year.
